Contracting Engineers, Inc. (CEI) has evolved from a general engineering construction business into becoming a successful construction consulting firm today. After years of being a general engineering contractor we discovered that our clients were requesting we provide them more and more extensive preconstruction and construction management services. We believe their interest rested in the way we executed our contracts, our work ethics and in the fact our management experience draws on over twenty three years of actual general engineering contracting experience. CEI actually performed mass excavation, grading, sewer and water, storm drain, roadway and site improvements for both public and private projects. In addition Mr. Clayton is also a licensed professional civil engineer that added the professional construction management dimension to the projects. We believe it is that difference that gives our clients the additional assurance their investment will likely achieve their desired outcomes.

Contracting Engineers, Inc. was founded in November 2000, as Clayton Engineering, Inc. a general engineering contractor was closed to change the ownership of the business, by Greg and Janie Clayton. The combined history of 23 years of construction contracting experience and as a construction consultant, our clients have come to expect responsive and professional construction services. As you breeze through the featured projects you will find CEI provided a high level of involvement in the preconstruction planning and management of the civil construction portions of each project for them to be successful.

To us professional means providing cost-conscious quality work and ethical business practices that are generally not practiced by other companies.
